Lighter backgrounds and lighter clothing tend to turn out better for our printed version. Be sure the photos are sharp (in focus), have reasonably good contrast and are not taken from an extreme distance. If you are scanning the photo yourself, or having it scanned for you, it should be scanned 300 DPI. It is not necessary to make any adjustments to the scanned image since we will do anything necessary in that regard for you, however please check the scanned photo to make sure that you have a nice clean scan and that it is not overly dark or muddy. We cannot guarantee the appearance of the photos in the publication if we do not receive good photos or scans. For the best results we do recommend that you mail us original photos for us to scan . When you send your photos, either via email or by mail, be sure to include your full name, telephone number and date your order was placed to ensure that we get them properly matched. Q: Can I order a custom placement or am I restricted to the standard placement? A: We can accept any type of placement that you would like. If you feel that you would like to have more photos or text published, all you need to do is email to menslisting@gmail.com and we will work something up for you and give you a price quote. We can also accept group placements offering a reasonable discount for the group. Q: Is the publication in color or black and white? A:The Men's Catalog is published in black and white but the online catalog is in color. While color may have some advantages, it simply does not have any measurable effect on the response rate.
